Kelly Burton joined the Allison Law Firm as Of Counsel in 2020. She helps clients grow businesses, protect assets, and create legacies. Her extensive and varied experience offers a unique, and at times creative, perspective to solve problems. Ms. Burton’s practice currently focuses on construction agreements; business planning and governance; technology and digital assets; and estate and legacy planning. She also advises organizations on non-profit and community outreach efforts, particularly those involving sports and education. Ms. Burton has prior experience in public, private, and syndication finance; litigation; sports, gaming, and Tribal law.
Prior to joining the Allison Law Firm, Ms. Burton served a number of years as a non-profit and community outreach professional, sporting event operations and strategic partnership director, as well as non-profit and sports governance consultant. Her favorite project was the HSBC Sevens Rugby Series Legacy Program – Adopt A Country, an innovative sports, education, and ambassadorship partnership with large school districts.
Ms. Burton volunteers for a number of wonderful organizations including the Green Valley United Methodist Church, the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, National Charity League, Nevada Youth Rugby Organization, and Rugby LA. She also periodically serves appointments as a disciplinary officer and an integrity officer at World Rugby sanctioned events in North America.
Kelly lives in Henderson with her husband, Travis. Her two daughters are in college.
